"My experience as a teacher and tutor is in both private and public schools. I was a classroom teacher for grades K-6 and worked as an interventionist. Additionally, I owned a private tutoring business for 9 years. My focus is on, but not limited to, reading/language arts, executive function skills (organization, homework completion, problem solving), as well as developing and building self-esteem.

I create dynamic lesson plans which utilize a variety of learning styles in order to strategically engage each child while either introducing, developing, or reinforcing skills/concepts/knowledge. My ability to navigate materials provided by the child's teacher while integrating my methods has proven successful.
