I have been a public and private school music teacher for more than 25 years. My experiences both as a teacher, musician, director and parent give me multiple methods for teaching musical skills, concepts, and appreciation.

Communicating how to take visual objects, reduce them to compilations of basic shapes and reassembling them in a logical, reasonable composition is a learned skill. Learning how to look and see, and transfer that vision to paper using various media such as pencils, pen & ink, or pastels takes the kind of guidance and experience I provide.
