"Hi! My name is Jaynie and I am a certified K-6 teacher. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Westminster University in the Spring of 2023 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I student-taught in Park City to obtain Utah Licensure, and I currently substitute teach in various districts within the Salt Lake Valley and Park City School District. Right now, I am currently completing my Master of Education with an emphasis in Trauma, Resilience, and Restorative Justice. I will work as a full-time teacher once I finish this! Throughout college/graduate school I have competed as student athlete in the sport of track and field. I also anonymously donated my kidney to a child in 2023!

I became a teacher because I wanted to inspire curiosity, empower others, and make a lasting impact on the world through learning. As an elementary school student, I struggled with my learning (especially math and reading). I know how valuable extra time and resources can be to support learning and confidence. As a tutor I want to help students excel and help show them that THEY CAN DO IT!
