"I'm Brittney! I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and currently working on receiving my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in reading. I have also obtained my gifted endorsement. Currently, I work to deliver standards-based instruction as a fourth-grade teacher in Cobb County.

My teaching philosophy is that all children are unique and must have a creative and stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I make it my daily duty to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. In my classroom, I provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks. As a tutor, I make sure to provide this same philosophy for my students where I will act as a guide and creatively present a curriculum that will be personalized for the unique learning style of your child, as well as make the content relevant to their lives. I will incorporate hands-on learning, where students will get a chance to practice the strategies on their own. I will monitor their progress, consistently adapting where needed to accommodate their needs.
