"Hello! My name is Westin, and I'm a High School English-language Arts teacher working in Olathe, KS. I hold a bachelor's degree in History and English Literature from the University of Missouri- Kansas City and a Master's in Teaching from Kansas State University. I am Certified to teach both English and Social Studies in grades 9-12 and have been teaching for two years.

As a teacher, I believe it is important to meet my students where they are; this does not mean to set the bar low or to expect less from my students but to recognize that every student represents a diverse background, and it is essential to modify or tailor instruction to fulfill the student's needs. This includes targeted feedback, support throughout the learning process, and self-assessment tools.
