"Hi there! I am a certified high school math teacher and I've been teaching math for 10 years. I've taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. I have taught in two states and have a Cross-Cultural Language and Development Authorization. I created and taught an Algebra Intervention course which was extremely successful in targeting students’ needs and helping them excel in their math courses.

I attended University of Connecticut and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Math Education, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Mathematics Education. I have tutored college students in Calculus, Physics, and Psychology. I have tutored high school students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry as well as middle school students in Pre-algebra.

I immediately seek to understand my students’ strengths and weaknesses to customize a strategy for them to improve their grades.
