"Hello! My name is Shannon, and I've been a certified English and IELTS teacher for more than 12 years and taught more than 5,000 students from all over the world. I'm an enthusiastic, encouraging and supportive teacher, and I can't wait to work with you! I'll provide you with the necessary vocabulary, grammar and conversation skills you need to help you have fluent conversations and/or pass the IELTS exam with 7.5s, 8s and 9s on every section. Each lesson is catered to you - including your specific goals and abilities - so that you improve as quickly as possible.

In my Fluent English class, we will:

- discuss interesting videos and articles

- discuss new phrases and expressions

- perfect your pronunciation and grammar

In my IELTS Preparation class, I will help you get 7.5s, 8s and 9s on every section of the IELTS exam. I have proven strategies, like the "answer-explain-example" formula, "write-like-you-speak" method and "tell-a-story" technique that will raise your scores (by up to .5 or 1 band score) in every section.

More specifically, my classes include:

- Writing classes in Google Docs, including unlimited corrections, until you're writing at a 7 or higher

- Access to free, online practice tests that mirror the real exam

- Strategies for all 3 Speaking parts that have helped my students go from a 6 to an 8.5 in Speaking in a few classes

- A Reading strategy that helped my student from Belarus go from a 5 to a 9 in Reading in a few weeks (this strategy does NOT include skimming and scanning the passages!)

- A Listening strategy that helps you never get lost in the audio again
