"Hello, Y'all! I'm recently retired from Maternal-Child bedside nursing after over thirty years of patient care. I graduated from Piedmont Hospital School of Nursing with a Diploma in Nursing in 1981, graduated summa cum laude from University of Texas at Arlington in 2016, and completed my MSN-ED in 2023 with honors. It was my great pleasure to care for mothers with high-risk pregnancies, women during labor and delivery, mothers and newborns, and newborn infants. I'm currently certified in Inpatient Obstetrics from National Certification Corporation (RNC-OB), Basic Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation.

I currently work as a nursing instructor in a high-fidelity simulation lab, and have taught topics from Introduction to Nursing to Critical Care.
