I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. Likewise, I graduated from Georgian Court University in 2017 with a post-baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education (K-6), as well as Special Education (K-12). Since completing my education, I have taught both General Education in Grades 1-3, as well as Special Education in Grades 1-3 full-time in multiple school districts (e.g., in-class resource, pull-out resource replacement, self-contained).
My personal approach to tutoring is to develop a personal and trustworthy relationship with both parents and their children. I like to utilize various assessment methods, including pre and post-assessments to gauge and track student progress in regard to their overall learning and academic growth and achievement. Likewise, I like to incorporate multiple modalities into my lessons to engage students and differentiate the instruction to meet their individual learning needs (e.g., visuals, hands-on activities, games).
My hourly rate for tutoring sessions is $55/hour for virtual instruction, as well as $60/hour for in-person instruction. I am available to tutor most weeknights and weekends.
