I earned my TEFL language teaching certificate in France, where I taught to native speakers of English, French, Spanish, and Chinese. I taught ages ~15-70, and I used primarily a combination of presentations and discussions. For Chinese, I like to teach it like a set of building blocks. By putting these building block characters together in different ways, we can create new meanings. Besides teaching languages, I've also TAed high school courses in Clinical Neuroscience, Microbiology Research, and Creative Writing.
