"I am a former high school math teacher, having taught all levels of math including AP and College Level Courses - EVEN STATISTICS! I still hold my Florida Mathematics Educator certification. I have extensive experience breaking down complex topics into manageable chunks and I am adept at working with all types of learners. I regularly work with students who have IEPs and 504s. I use differentiation and recognize that not everyone learns the same. I stand by and craft my tutoring according to current mathematics research which holds that learning mathematics is developmental, meaning that not all Freshman are ready for Algebra 1 (for example) simply because of their age or grade.
