"Hello! I am a certified Orton-Gillingham Practitioner and have been tutoring students with reading and spelling difficulties for the past 8 years. I have also received a Masters Degree in General and Special Education and have worked with students in grades 1-6 since 2009, providing individualized instructional support in Reading and Writing. Reading Fluency affects progress in all content areas and this approach has been scientifically proven and effective for Dyslexia. This approach is language based, structured, cumulative and multisensory involving multiple learning pathways including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. All lessons are individualized and planned to the unique needs of each student.
While tutoring children with Dyslexia, I have observed outstanding reading fluency and spelling progress. It has become a passion of mine to see children's improvement in reading and writing, and it gives me great joy to see their confidence grow as they progress in these essential skills.
The online platform I have created is interactive and engaging, offering successful instruction to facilitate progress. I use the same techniques and teaching materials as traditional onsite services.
