"I have a bachelor's and master's degree in physics and am certified to teach high school math, physics, and chemistry. I began my career in education in 2013 working part-time as a math tutor for grades K-12. While attending university, I also worked as a math tutor at several community colleges, an undergraduate teaching assistant for Calculus III, and a graduate teaching assistant for University Physics I and II. After earning a masters I worked as a physics teacher for an early college high school.

I am excited to begin my 6th year teaching high school physics! I like math and physics because I find it fascinating we are able to describe, measure, and predict the actions of the universe with math.

My teaching method uses Socratic questioning to probe students' current knowledge and help them build upon what they know. I also make an effort to teach with pictures and colors whenever possible.
