"I have been teaching and tutoring various subjects, including math, science, and ESOL, since 2004. I have taught in various environments, from tutoring students at their home to holding classroom sessions in public universities and schools.

I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.A. in Linguistics from UTEP, while working as a tutor in the chemistry, physics, and languages and linguistics department at various points. I have been teaching various science and engineering classes for the past 5 years as a certified teacher in the state of Texas.

My approach to teaching, aside from my love of sharing knowledge, is based on the belief that shown enough patience and understanding, and with enough practice and dedication, any student can succeed in even the most frustrating of subjects. I strive to recognize the specific needs of my students, and then do my best to address those thoroughly. I am a strong believer in recognizing my students' strengths and weaknesses and working with those for the best learning experience possible.
