"Hello. I have been teaching in the public school system and as a University instructor for almost 20 years. I specialize in working with at-risk students, and students who don't "fit" into the traditional school model. My own children were home-schooled at some point in their lives - and are doing well.

My Master's degree is in English Literature and I am a published writer. I have taught at all levels - pre-k through graduate students, and I am comfortable with all. My elementary teaching position was in the 3rd grade - my high school experience was as an English teacher. I also taught ENG 101 (college composition) to primarily first year students. I am familiar with writing requirements to increase SAT/ACT scores, college applications, English classes. I also teach research skills, Creative Writing, poetry to high school students.

My Education degree was in Elementary Education. I can help with any subject at this level.
