"I have more than 20 years of experience as an elementary, middle school and high school STEM teacher in Connecticut. I spent several years as a grade K through 12 science curriculum supervisor in three school districts. New offerings! Complete, standards-based science online course, grades 4, 5, 6 as well as high school biology.

I have taught general science, AP biology, IB biology, Earth Science including NY Regents Earth Sci, 10th grade biology, chemistry, physical science, AP and college level environmental science, astronomy, meteorology, marine science, oceanography, computer science, mathematics and algebra. I have also taught courses as an adjunct professor. These courses included anatomy and physiology, sex ed and computer programming.

I love teaching and tutoring students one-on-one. My goal for every one of my students is to make them love science and learning as much as I do. If they earn top grades and prestigious awards along the way, it's a bonus for both of us!

I excel in project design and project completion with students. Teaching students how to get organized and break a large project into manageable pieces is my specialty. I have coached several winning projects for student entries in the CT Science and Engineering Fair and the CT Invention Convention, Science Olympiad, as well as other state and national competitions. I am also a CSEF judge with 10 years of experience.
