"I am currently a second grade teacher and have had classroom experience in the kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades, both as an assistant and as a teacher. I have been a teacher for over 15 years and have maintained a strong and positive relationship with all of my students and their parents during my teaching tenure. I have also been a private tutor for over 15 years. I have tutored all levels of math from k-12 and literacy through 8th grade as well as all other elementary subjects.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, am certified to teach k-6, and have a strong background in both mathematics and balanced literacy. I consider myself to be a conscientious and hardworking individual. I take the responsibility of educating children very seriously and always work to be a positive role model for my students.
I am a kind and caring tutor, who works hard to make lessons fun and engaging. My main goal for each lesson is to make sure my students are happy and feeling more comfortable with the topic at hand.
