"I am Certified Special Teacher with 24 years in Education grades 2nd through 8th. I obtained Master's in Education 2012 from Texas Tech. While I completed my Master's I added certificates at the University.

During that pursuit I also did a lot of research on helping students struggling in learning. The thesis I wrote was on using appropriate interventions to hep a struggling learner succeed. I currently work with students that are behind in math and reading. I have received lots of training working with Phonics and Dyslexia Programs during the 24 years of teaching. My current teaching certificate is still valid. I am also able to do assessments to better understand reading and phonics level at the beginning to be able to create an individualized plan for each student. These assessments can then be explained to parent at the end of the first session so that we can create an education plan that will help their child improve and succeed in school." less...
