"Hi! My name is Samoane, and I hold a CRLA Master Tutor certificate. Tutoring is my greatest passion and I love instilling confidence in my students, so they can approach any writing assignment with ease. I have tutored for three years, and taught ENG 101/201 for two and a half.

I obtained a MA and BA in English from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I built my teaching and tutoring portfolio. Currently, I work as a grant writer for a local nonprofit, but I have applied my writing skills to marketing communications and program management as well! I love all things writing, and I have worked with students across different disciplines and learning styles using my adaptive, scaffolded approach to tutoring. I can help you enhance your grammar, formatting, organization, vocabulary, and composition skills. My specialty is College-level English Composition, but I am more than comfortable working with students in other majors, and students outside of higher education.
