It is a program designed for students---children or adults---who are having or have had difficulty learning to read. I have been a Certified Wilson Language Method Tutor since 2004. I teach children and adults (Kindergarten through adulthood) reading, spelling, vocabulary and reading comprehension within the Wilson Program. I have enjoyed teaching regular developmental students as well as students with disabilities, such as dyslexia, autism spectrum, ADD, and ADHD.
I love tutoring students within the Wilson Program because each student's lessons are completely individualized for their success.
I have a B.A. in Social Work from Monmouth University. I have held a Nursery School/Kindergarten Certification by the PA Department of Private Academic Schools having been a Co-Founder/Owner/Director/Teacher of a Nursery School/Day Care Center for 20 years. I have also worked extensively with pre-adolescents and adolescents. I have my PA Child Abuse History Clearance and PA State Police Criminal Record Check.
