"Hello! I am a 14 year teaching veteran who has a passion for helping my students achieve and succeed. I went to Longwood University to obtain my Chemistry degree and all my credentials.

My love of teaching started in highschool when I would tutor friends and fellow football players in a variety of subjects to help them earn better grades. This turned into the career I have now. My method of tutoring is focused on the fundamental concepts, development of skills and application of those skills. I start off accessing what is known of the topic at hand and what needs further explaining. Then that leads into guided practice and eventually individual practice with supervision offering real time assessment and explanation. The goal is to build confidence in the material.
