I graduated from Union College in 2012 with a B.S. in Chemistry and French and a minor in Math. After graduation, I headed down south to start my PhD in Chemistry at the University of Georgia carrying out research in Inorganic chemistry. While in graduate school, I taught 8 semesters of Organic Chemistry Lab (4 semesters of Modern Organic Chemistry I and 4 semesters of Modern Organic Chemistry II) and was a teaching assistant for Inorganic Chemistry. I just completed my PhD in May 2018 and am currently searching for industry jobs in Providence, RI, but in the meantime I'd love to get back to what I really loved during graduate school, which was teaching undergraduate students! "This will be my fourth year at UGA, and Ramsey is by far the best lab TA I've had. She's extremely knowledgeable in the procedures we performed in lab, and always treated us with kindness and respect. She never seemed annoyed by my questions (of which there were many), and was very happy to help! I felt comfortable asking her questions with the confidence that I wouldn't be looked down on.
