"I began tutoring in middle school and have been doing it ever since. I enjoy teaching people the concept behind the topic rather than following the traditional method of memorization-based learning. I find that most students have a hard time excelling in exams because they lack conceptual understanding and foundation. Courses revolving around science are conceptual in nature (even inspiring) once you begin to grasp the mathematical magic "life" has spurred. I believe explanation is the key element in visualizing these phenomenons to enrich understanding. That being said, it truly saddens me when I see young students disvalue and avoid education in science because of its intimidating nature.
