"Hello there! Welcome to my profile. My name is Julio T., and it is very nice to meet you! A little bit about myself. I am originally from Cali, Colombia. I came to the United States when I was eighteen years of age. I went to Chabot College, and finished my education at Cal State East Bay. I have a degree in Health Science (emphasis in Health Administration) and will eventually like to become a nurse.

In terms of my experience as a tutor, I worked as a tutor for over five years at both the aforementioned institutions, and also privately. I have also tutored Chemistry in Spanish, it is fun! I have been able to help hundreds if not thousands of students in my career not only passing their classes, but also to become better test-takers, and much better critical thinkers. Many of them have gone and become engineers, nurses and doctors. Thus, their success speaks volumes about the kind of tutoring you are about to receive.

I am a very patient tutor. I understand the complexities of the topic (specially when you have never learned about atoms and electrons that you can't even see with your bare eyes!) Yet, with my extensive experience, I have come to realize the best ways for information to be understood in an easier manner. Chemistry can be fun, even when your major is not it. Five years+ as a chemistry tutor at two educational institutions and also as a private tutor (middle and high school students)

Spanish is my first language. I can speak, read and write in it. I know proper grammar. I played varsity soccer in Colombia, during my high school years.
