"I have over 45 years of professional experience in the music business and currently am interested in tuoring music theory, composition, orchestration, songwriting, and music notation. I am a film & television composer whose music has appeared on HBO specials, the Art and Entertainment Network, PBS, the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel. I also provide music for independent film projects, as well as composing and producing music for literally hundreds of audio and video productions adapted from great children's books. My work, composing for Live Oak Media (specializing in children's music) has kept me young at heart for about a quarter of a century. After and during college years I was teaching, and taught both of my children when they were growing up. Although some years have past, once again I am ready to "give back." The only thing I require from a prospective student is: a passion for music. My methods of teaching can be adaptable and even personalized, according to the students age, experience, and style.
