"I am a Christian educator who focuses on finding ways to bring the Christian faith into every aspect of life and education. As a former art teacher, I integrated Christianity into the visual arts by creating Christian art history curriculum and art studio challenges for high school students and homeschooled students to deepen their biblical knowledge and understanding. For over thirty years I have dedicated my skills as an educator to women's ministry and volunteering in the local church and at the national level while actively serving in cross-cultural ministry.
I use my bachelor's degree in art education and Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction to explore engaging ways to teach Christianity. I am currently working as an author on Christian biblical literacy topics. I am the author of "Be Thou My Guide: A Bible study on trusting God". It received a recommended citation from The Journal of the Association of Christian Librarians in the December 2020 issue. And most recently, a contributing author among forty-two other authors in a new devotional book on Psalm 91. I write biblical studies focused on women's concerns; the impact of Christianity on modern culture; and embracing diversity in the Christian church. You can learn more about me through reading the article "Living Forgiven" in Lutheran Woman's Quarterly Fall 2014 and featured cover story focused on my service as Chair of the Heart-to-Heart Sister of all Nations program. You can also hear an interview with me on KFUO radio station, February 2020.
Through tutoring on topics related to Christianity, I want to encourage practicing intentional Christian living in today's world. Thank you for considering me as your bible tutor. I look forward to helping you on whatever topic you desire to better understand." less...
