"Born in London, England, Simone started her performance career early by attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School from age 8. By 9 she was already a budding artist and won a National Art competition for the ITV channel in the United Kingdom.
During her college years, she attended Chelsea College of Art and Design, followed by a BA degree in Visual Communication and Design at Middlesex University. But, her love of acting led her to complete a post-graduate diploma at the Central School of Speech and Drama and London Academy of Performing Arts. After drama school, Simone performed leading roles in numerous productions from Shakespeare to modern writers such as Carol Churchill. Her stage performances include 'Juliet' in Romeo and Juliet and 'Lin' in The Lyric Theatre's, Cloud Nine. Her TV roles include 'Joan of Arc' in Women of War, The Bill and Crime Team as 'Elizabeth Goth', as well as numerous films including Love Meet Hope; Kick and Dead of the Nite with the infamous Tony Todd (Candyman). Simone was a regular performer at the famous Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Here, on the Globe stage, she would demonstrate sword (and quarter staff) fights to the public, as part of the stage combat team.
Simone moved to Hollywood, Los Angeles in 2014, where she decided to combine her love of movies with art and pursue her dream career as a Production and Set Designer. As well as doing theatrical sets, the resume of films she artistically directed includes:- Appetites; Framed: The Adventures of Zion Man; Living Room Coffin and Happiness - all her work is credited on IMDB.
In 2016, Simone (under Paradiso Floats) won the highly prestigious Queens Trophy for the ‘Downton Abbey’ PBS float at the world-renowned Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. Since then, she has been a self-employed artist and illustrator and raises her family in Waco, Texas with her husband.
