"I enjoy working with singers of all ages and ability levels. I've worked with dozens of "tone deaf" students to help them develop their ability to sing, and frequently train teachers in working with singers who struggle. On the other hand, I have many professional students who are professional singers and performers and work on highly advanced technique.
I always focus on enjoyment in the lesson, as the best learning happens when we're having fun. I also work hard to build confidence and stage presence. Finally, a main priority is instilling proper vocal health to avoid voice damage.
I also offer Acting Coaching. My students focus on developing stage presence, learning short monologues and scenes, building audition skills, and developing their vocal/facial/physical expression.
In addition, I've been a math tutor for the last decade for students of all ages. I specialize in standardized test prep, particularly SAT/ACT. I have near perfect scores on both tests and I'm a member of MENSA and the Triple 9 Society.
I have coached and judged Speech and Debate for over a decade and competed at the national level in Poetry, Comedic Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, and Duo Interpretation. I won dozens of local, state, and regional speech tournaments in my career. I was also active in Toastmasters International and earned several awards. I've been paid as a professional speaker for many conferences and have spoken to audiences of thousands of people. I've been featured on MTV and a variety of local, state, and national media.
I also bring over a decade of professional singing and vocal coaching experience to help speakers develop their vocal skills and improve the physical qualities of their voices.
I am a Quarter-finalist for the Grammy Award for Music Educator of the Year and have spent over a decade coaching thousands of singers to develop their voices and improve their musicianship. I've worked with singers of all ages and in many varying styles including Classical/Opera, Choir, Musical Theate" less...
