I obtained my bachelor's degree from Washington University in St Louis where I majored in Chemistry and minored in Mathematics while also tutoring Calculus I, II, and III. I received my PhD in Physical Chemistry from University of California, Irvine where I also served as a TA for the General Chemistry Lab, Organic Chemistry Lab, and graduate-level Electrochemistry.
I tutor high school and college students in one-on-one, small group, and large group sessions. My job is to explain difficult concepts clearly and give you strategies to tackle a range of science and math problems with minimal memorization. I can point out common misconceptions I have seen with previous students and help you avoid pitfalls. STEM courses often require a significant amount of time outside the class in order for material to make sense and be retained well. I would love to be an outside resource that helps you gain confidence and succeed!" less...
