I am passionate about helping students succeed in the English language arts, including reading, writing, and critical thinking. Throughout my career, I've worked with dually enrolled high school students and have taught in special summer programs for juniors and seniors.

I hold a PhD in Rhetoric, Composition & the Teaching of English from The University of Arizona where I was honored with the DeFazio Excellence in Teaching Award, reflecting my commitment to inclusive pedagogy. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that "one size does not fit all." I focus on self-discovery to help students identify and leverage their unique strengths and interests.

In tutoring sessions, I offer personalized support in essay writing, reading comprehension, test preparation, mindset coaching, and more, with engaging methods tailored to various learning styles. I'm available for sessions from Sunday through Thursday, with times to accommodate students' schedules.
