About me: I have a Ph.D., with distinction, from IU, which I earned in 2017. During my long tenure there, I taught literature, writing, research and analysis for the English department and business writing and communications for the renowned Kelley School of Business. After IU, I took a Postdoctoral Fellowship and faculty position at Georgia Institute of Technology, where I taught media and communications skills for STEM students for more than three years. I was recognized at the university and national level with teaching awards for my work at Tech, and received some of the highest evaluations on record from my students.

Following the pandemic, I chose not to renew my contract with Georgia Tech. After certifying in SEO, content strategy and marketing, and social media strategy, I pursued a private sector career as a head of content. After receiving four competing job offers in just two months on the market, I accepted a role as Content executive at an award-winning marketing agency. There, I led brand strategy, content, design and development for more than 35 executive clients across six different industries.
