"Grey is a rising senior at Christopher Newport University (4.0 GPA) majoring in English writing and philosophy and minoring in Spanish and linguistics. English is not only my field of study but my passion. I write 1,000 words per day as a hobby and have earned an "A" grade in all of my high school and collegiate English literature and writing courses. I currently work in the Christopher Newport writing center as a tutor, and during my junior year, I presented an academic paper written for one of my English classes at the annual Paideia academic conference. In my senior year of high school, I passed both the AP Language and Literature exam with a score of 5.

I have studied Spanish eight years and can understand with fluency and speak and write at an advanced level. Most of my ESL students at Peninsula Reads are native Spanish speakers, so I practice speaking, hearing, and writing the language every week. During my senior year of high school, I passed the Spanish AP exam with a score of 4.
