"Tiye Gordon is the founder and president of a nonprofit organization that provides safe spaces, technology training, and opportunities for youth to strengthen their voice and develop their purpose, power, and passion. As a leader, social entrepreneur, and youth digital citizenship advocate, her life’s mission is to work in communities to facilitate youth in identifying individual and group voice and communicating their experiences by engaging in innovation & entrepreneurship, dialogue, physical activity, and creative processes.

She is a M.A. graduate from the University of South Carolina (Columbia) with a specialization in 19th-century consumer society and African American women’s history and a M.B.A. graduate from the Darla Moore School of Business with a specialization in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. Ms. Gordon was also a Graduate Research Assistant in the Institute for African American Research, Volunteer Head Basketball Coach with the Central Carolina Force Boys AAU Organization, and Assistant Girls Varsity Coach at Ridge View High.
