I have taken many advanced math courses during my studies up through a second semester of Abstract Algebra, among other courses. I'm currently an adjunct professor at the Colorado School of Mines, and previously served as a private tutor at the Singapore American School.

While at the Singapore American School, I tutored high school students in every grade level, and in courses such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calc I, II, and III. As a professor, I have been teaching Calculus II, primarily to incoming college freshmen. What I have found works best is the "old school" way of learning: introducing a concept, showing how to apply it, and then lots of practice problems. This method has worked very well for both tutoring and my classes, and has led to my sections consistently outperforming the class average on exams." less...
