"I love writing. I taught middle and high school English (and other classes, including shop) as a substitute teacher for Austin Independent School District in Austin, Texas. I also earned a TESOL teaching certification with distinction and co-taught an ESL class for a local church.

I offered writing and career coaching independently for over ten years and taught an adult writing and photography course for the City of Tempe in Arizona, along with several online workshops that received excellent reviews. I'm also a published author with many articles and stories in my portfolio, and I've provided book reviews for major publishers and served as a judge for a recognized book competition.

My tutoring style and experience are a good fit for late teens and adults interested in increasing writing skills for college prep, college entrance essays, academic writing, and business. When working with students, I provide coaching, editorial, and technical training in academic writing. I do never write for them.
