My name is Elijah Pierre-Toussaint, and I am a senior civil engineering major at Bradley University. Over the past one and a half years, I have tutored elementary school students in math at the Dream Center in Peoria, IL. My journey with mathematics has not always been easy. I scored very low in math during my high school placement exams, starting below the College Prep standard. However, through perseverance and dedication, I worked my way up from Algebra I to Precalculus, maintaining As and Bs throughout my high school years. This journey has shaped my belief that anything is possible with hard work and determination, a message I strive to impart to all my students.
