I was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction and received the AP Capstone Diploma. I currently have a 4.0 gpa from my first semester in college.
In my first semester of college (August – December 2024), I maintained a 102% GPA, earning a final grade of 103% in Calculus 2. Being well versed in the topics, I am primarily focusing on tutoring Math up to Calculus BC and History subjects for high school students.
Having excelled in AP history courses, I understand firsthand the challenges students face, particularly in DBQs, SAQs, LEQs, and other writing-based assessments. These assignments involve knowledge of a strict rubric and specific structures that are hard to grasp. Through trial and error, I learned how to navigate these rubrics effectively and want to help students develop the same confidence and skills that I have.
I have experience tutoring both my peers and my younger brother. Throughout high school, I regularly set up tutoring sessions with friends to help them in math courses, which led to a passion for tutoring that I hope to share on this platform. Today, I tutor my brother on his AP history writing-based assessments.
My tutoring approach is hands-on and interactive. I believe that working through problems step by step, with guidance, is the best way to learn. Repetition has been key to my own academic success, and I hope to help students build confidence and develop independent problem-solving skills. As a tutor, I intend for students to to find success and believe in their own abilities." less...
