"Hello! My name is Carter, and I currently work as a student success specialist at a research university. In my current position, I am tasked with meeting with students on a weekly basis to ensure their success in college. I have over seven years of experience in the fields of college admissions, college success and readiness, as well as student-development and learning. Previously, I have held roles teaching US history, world history, government, geography and economics. I enjoy making connections between historical events and the current national, and global landscape. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with bachelor's degrees in History and Secondary Education, and have also completed two master's degrees: one in Higher Education, and another in Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science!
