I'm excited to work with motivated students are curious about mathematics and science.

I graduated from Columbia University with degrees in mathematics and philosophy, and I've taken coursework in advanced undergraduate computer science. I've worked as a TA and tutor for over ten years.

I love math and science, I think it's endlessly fascinating how this stuff can model and explain the world. I also love sharing these insights with my students.

If you attach the assignment to your initial message to me, we can quickly move on to discussing scheduling.

While AP subjects are nationally standardized, all other subjects are not. Many college courses will teach significantly different material for the same course title, even just from one semester to another. So the only way that I can know what I need to teach you, is to see the current assignment.

It can also be helpful to have the syllabus, past assignments, and any other information. More info is always better.

For in-person meetings, I meet all my students at the Sharon Forks Library. There is an open study room, or we can book a quiet meeting room. I am open to meeting at some other locations, but only within a 10-minute drive of the library.

I also offer a "feedback" service, in which you send me your written work, and I can provide written feedback. I offer this service for a significant discount. This can be ideal for a person who only needs explanations of very specific topics, or for someone who just wants their work double-checked.

All written work and feedback must be written in LaTeX and sent through Overleaf; I won't accept any hand-written submissions." less...
