"I recently graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Cognitive Science with a Concentration in Computer Science. I have experience tutoring undergraduate students in computer science, especially in Python. I was a TA for the Intro to Programming course at UVA for two consecutive semesters where I would teach students one-on-one as well as in groups. I also have about a year of experience tutoring high school math and Spanish as part of a volunteer program I completed. Since graduating from UVA, I continue to refine my skills in Computer Science, Data Science, User Experience/User Interface, Web Design and Development, Adobe, Data Privacy, and more. As a tutor, I am patient, thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, persistent, and creative. I ensure that the students I work with understand core concepts before moving on and that they come to answers on their own with my guidance. I encourage them without giving them answers and ensure we achieve their learning goals before the end of a session. I hold myself to high standards of learning and make sure that I possess the necessary expertise in order to provide the help that each student needs.
