"I have a Masters of Music and a Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA) in Composition from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. I was an Associate Professor in the School of Music at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia for nine years. During my time there, I co-created a popular new degree program for Music Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology and taught courses on electronic, rock and experimental music. I also developed and administrated the capstone experience for our program. In that role, I advised an incredibly varied range of student work - from hip hop to vaporwave - and coached students on writing their senior theses. I have been mentoring college students in a diverse array of genres, styles and approaches to music making for over 10 years.

In my own work I am active as a composer of electroacoustic music, an improvising performer, and a sound artist. I incorporate audio programming, digital production, handmade electronics, modular synthesis, instrument building, spatial audio, video, microcontrollers, kinetics, and free improvisation into my practice.
