"I am a former K-8 teacher who is highly skilled in the teaching of all elementary-school subject matter. My tutoring is oriented around first discovering the place where the student's understanding is temporarily blocked, and then finding creative ways to break through that blockage so that the student truly understands the subject and his/her natural abilities are revealed and promoted. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, awarded with honors by the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY).
