"I am a high school life sciences instructor from the Bremen, Ohio area.

I am certified to teach all sciences for grades 7-12.

I have a B.Sci. in Wildlife Biology from Ohio University, where I also worked in an ecology lab as a field technician upon graduation. I am also in the final stages of completing my M.Ed. in Science education.

In addition to my current teaching position, I also have over 4 years of experience teaching Outdoor Education in a private facility in northern Ohio. Along with ecology and other sciences, this position gave me experience in teaching a variety of other subjects, including math, social studies and English.

As my original degree is in biology and I am training in scientific research and lab techniques, I believe in a "hands-on" approach to science. In other words, science is learned by doing it, not hearing about it.
