"Hi, I'm Louis! I grew up in Rhode Island and recently graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans. I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. I studied Spanish, molecular biology and computer science at Tulane. I'm interested in academic research and programming; I love solving involved problems and working on projects. I've researched bone regeneration at Tulane, protein biophysics at Brown and have been involved in more programming projects than I can count. I enjoy running, especially on trails or in the rain, and I try to go once every day. I'm generally a very active person. I also play the trumpet and guitar and I like to perform, mostly jazz music.

I have worked as a tutor in many different capacities. I've taught seminars on computer programming and web development to college students, labs on scientific investigation techniques to high school students, basic computer literacy classes in Spanish to adults, and tennis lessons to young children.
