"I make hard-to-understand concepts easy to grasp as I give visual examples of how the code we're working on works. I take a problem-solving approach during our sessions so that we spend more time structuring the problem rather than coding and running into errors. However, we still may spend some time debugging your code before we move forward developing the problem-solving process. I've received As in all of my Javascript courses and have taught myself Python as well. Some of the projects I've worked on include web scraping news articles, web form apps, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms."
I'm a senior at the U of O that's offering online tutoring for college students taking beginner and intermediate programming courses. I currently tutor students taking JavaScript, Python, NODE.js, REACT.js, and MySQL courses. I want to offer a personalized tutoring experience to struggling beginner CS students so that they can succeed in class and build a solid base knowledge of programming. I noticed a huge demand for programming help during my years as a CIT student and I ended up tutoring many of my peers in class. I have over two and a half years of experience with programming and data science.
