"My name is Deb. I have 27 years of teaching experience. I have a Masters in Instructional Design with technology. I also love science and have an extensive college background in biology. I am an excellent user of the English language, write and communicate very well which gives me the ability to tutor in this area as well. I have many teaching tools, such as hands-on activities, diagramming, questioning, and working backwards which allow me to be versatile as a tutor.

I have tutored privately for more than 20 years and have tutored several students all throughout their high school experiences. I am technology savvy, am willing to learn or explore the tools that work best for you, and will work as hard as you do. I think of myself as a team member when teaching or tutoring. Our work together is the key to your success.

I love learning, and because I do, I am excited to help you find success in learning. I am a kind, perceptive person. I want to support, facilitate and show you, my student, how to master the ideas you are desiring to truly learn. I am patient and have a great sense of humor, which makes the process fun! I can ask questions to help you find solutions to problems and I will answer questions when you ask. We will take as much time as you need, we will do and redo ideas until they make sense to you. I will be truthful because honesty is a priority. I want you to trust me and what I know as well trusting what you know.
