I tutored several students from The University of Miami (U Miami) and helped them improve course grades, build confidence in solving business calculus and business statistics problems, and successfully complete MAS 110 (Quantitative Applications in Business) and MAS 201 (Introduction to Business Statistics) .

In addition, I have considerable experience teaching and tutoring several college courses, namely college algebra, precalculus, survey of calculus, applied calculus, calculus for the life and social sciences, AP calculus, AP statistics, finite math, discrete math, and statistics (I am proficient in StatCrunch, the TI 83/84 calculator, and Microsoft Excel).

Besides teaching and tutoring, I conduct scientific research on the teaching and learning of important ideas in business calculus calculus such as the concept of the derivative. In fact, some of my research publications have focused on students' understanding of optimization problems, marginal cost, marginal revenue, marginal profit, elasticity of demand, and related rates problems, respectively.
