"I graduated from Rutgers University in 2020 with a double major in Math and Economics, was one of the Top 10 graduates in my high school, and served as the Class President all 4 years.
Since graduating college, I have been working two jobs, one as a data analyst for the US Navy, and one creating my own software to manage finances and scheduling for a small business. During college into the present day, I also worked as a substitute Calculus teacher in a high school, where I found a deep passion for connecting with students. Although I love a classroom setting, I find the most successful math results come from one-on-one interactions.
I have been tutoring classmates and friends since 7th grade and can instantly comprehend how and why students don’t understand a concept. I explain the concepts in a manner that keeps the ideas forever engraved in their mind using quick energy and personal connection. Math is an important skill for every student, and I always use real world examples to emphasize the usefulness of the information they are learning and how it will apply outside of school in their life. I am an extremely outgoing and positive person with a huge passion for helping students. I was in their shoes just a few years ago so I relate well to students, and I greatly enjoy the satisfaction of helping anyone and everyone learn to make math enjoyable. I excel in tutoring Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 & 2, Statistics, Elementary Math, College Discrete/Contemporary Math & many more. I am super flexible, understanding, encouraging and want you to succeed and help you understand that you ARE good at math, you just need the right help." less...
