"Hi! Through my time as a student, I have gained the skills necessary for communicating with others and acquiring the knowledge to be a tutor. I have had experience tutoring students in English and Biology, helping me understand the importance of tailoring lessons to each student. I believe tutoring is the most effective when students come to me with questions first so that I can focus on specific topics that the student struggles with instead of just reviewing broad topics that don't truly benefit the student.

I'm currently an undergraduate at Cornell University studying nutritional sciences with a minor in business. I have taken college-level courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, cell biology, calculus, and written composition. Outside of academics, I'm an editor for the Cornell Undergraduate Research Journal, which has polished my ability to proofread written compositions and provide useful feedback on all forms of English rhetoric. I also conduct microbiology research in the College of Veterinary Medicine, which has provided me the opportunity to apply what I learn in the classroom to real-life applications.
