"Hi, I’m Amanda! I am recent graduate from Cornell University, majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Nutrition. I have experience with all subject areas, but have greatly excelled in the math and sciences. I have always loved helping others succeed and excel in the classroom. In high school, I frequently helped my classmates in subject areas that they struggled in and loved watching them grow and understand the topics. I always found it difficult seeing students become discouraged after an individual had explained a topic too fast without truly knowing if the student had understood the material. I am extremely patient and more than happy to explain any material in depth.

I have always had a passion for math and have excelled in my math courses, from advanced math early on to the math courses I have taken at Cornell.

In high school, I scored a 35 on the English section of the ACT. During my time at Cornell, I have taken 3 writing courses that have dramatically changed the way I write and my knowledge of proper grammar.
